PPD Tuberculosis Skin Test

Hospital Discount Pharmacy offers tuberculosis (TB) testing on a walk-in basis during regular business hours. No appointment required!

Our TB Skin test is also known as PPD test, which stands for purified protein derivative test. This test determines if your body has been exposed to the bacteria that causes tuberculosis.

How to get a TB skin test:

Simply walk in to our pharmacy any time during business hours. We are open Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 2pm. The TB skin test requires that you arrive at our pharmacy 2 times. The first time, you will answer some questions and receive the skin test. The second visit must be between 48-72 hours after the first visit. During the second visit, we will look at your skin test and “read” the test. You will receive official documentation that you can present to whomever was requesting the skin test.
